Legislation on website accessibility focuses on complying with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
Most importantly government and semi-government websites in the Netherlands must be accessible from September 23, 2020. They need to follow the guidelines of WCAG 2.1. This is a collection of technical guidelines that prescribe how a website can comply.
But an accessible website does not automatically mean that a website can also be used by people with a challenge, for instance. Aally helps to make websites more usable, which as a result makes a website more accessible.
